Two of our favorite flavors of the holiday season is eggnog and cheesecake. Why enjoy them separately when you can whip up a batch of Eggnog Cheesecake Bars?! These yummy dessert bars are perfect for serving at your Christmas or New Years celebrations.
You can keep this recipe as simple as you wish or go all out and make it 100% homemade. The recipe calls for a box of cake mix, but feel free to use your grandma’s best cake batter recipe as the first step.

Once your cake has been baked and cool, crumble into your baking dish as the base of your Eggnog Cheesecake Bars. Then layer with the remaining mixture. Full instructions in the printable recipe below.
Don’t these look extra yummy? Which flavor cake mix will you use? You can keep it simple with a yellow cake or make a cinnamon or vanilla cake to enhance flavors.
Eggnog Cheesecake Bars
- 1 box cake mix
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup eggnog
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Line a 9x13 pan with foil.
Prepare cake mix according to directions. Let cool and then crumble and press into the pan.
In a large mixing bowl and with a hand mixer, mix together the cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, white sugar, eggnog, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Pour on top of the cake crust and spread evenly. Top with cinnamon.
Refrigerate for 1 hour but the longer the better!
